How Samoan Chief Titles [Tapaina O Le Ipu I Le Suafa Faamausili] Are Conferred To Someone. Part II

Many of us who lived overseas have never witnessed or seen these traditional ceremonials of the Samoan culture.

Samoan Chief titles are ONLY conferred or bestowed to family members related or heir to such titles. Ainuu Tasi Afamasaga is a descendant of the Malietoa and Mataafa Fiame Faumuina Samoan Royal Family. He is one of Malietoa Laupepa's great grandson through his great grandmother, Fua'omalo Fiame Johnson of Lepa-Lotofaga and grandmother Taase Faumuina Fiame Leitutua Aull of Lepea.

This took place at Malie, Upolu, Samoa. Also see Ainuu Tasi's older brother Maualaivaos' saofai blessed by His Highness Malietoa Tanumafili II.
